The International Superblock Meetings
The research and innovation project TuneOurBlock explored the potential and the challenges of the Superblocks concept between 2021 and 2024. Within the project a Peer Group of municipal stakeholders was formed to provide applied knowledge and feedback.
The initiative to organize the International Superblock Meeting resulted from the Peer Group network established within TuneOurBlock. The TuneOurBlock consortium and partners in the respective cities organised three International Superblock Meetings, held between March 2023 and April 2024, in Barcelona, Berlin, and Vienna. The meetings provided fruitful exchange and lessons for hundreds of participants from across Europe representing a wide range of stakeholder groups.
